ZeroPlus DanceStudio is run by Zero Ballet, a contemporary dance company. Classes are taught by the highly educated members of the company and by other similarly qualified dancers. The aim of the company is to increase the number of young people who understand and love dance and movement. We lay an emphasis on the education of the healthy exercise - our teachers are aware of the fundamental physiological and anatomical knowledge, and they deal with everybody individually. In our studio visitors can study in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, according to their own capacities and abilities and thus their body and their soul may be brought into harmony. The directive and importance of this harmony, balance and wholeness appears in the company's name: the word ZERO refers to our intention to start from the mysterious centre, as ZERO is the place for transformation: it is the place where negative numbers turn into positive, night turns into day, virtual becomes real. Thus ZERO also becomes the symbol of the creating process, since in this process we attempt to reveal something that was hidden so far, we aspire to make a bridge between spiritual and corporeal. From time to time ZERO Ballet searches for ways to involve the audience into its performances by encouraging them to step across the border between in and out. West and East happen to meet in our performances. We aim to create pieces which are genuine, reflect on recent questions and thought-provoking too, which take the risk to choose an ?unknown way?. This approach has a humorous, playful side as well, inviting the audience for an amusing and exciting intellectual adventure. In the Company-s name word ballet refers to the honor of the western traditions, even though it doesnt mean an automatic acceptance or following of these, but rather a creative reconsideration
