My name is György Vigh and I am an entrepreneur. I have been creating programs for schools since 1987. At that time I was approached and asked to create a gross salary computing program in connection with the introduction of personal income tax. After my successful start, I was requested to make a payroll accounting program. That's how it started... Following this, my payroll accounting, educational administration and other utility programs were used in approximately 40 institutions. Simultaneously with programming, I started to prepare web sites, pages and banners, and I also undertook their on-demand maintenance. I have held and still hold IT training sessions and lectures on the pitfalls of creating web site and web-based curricula, and how to overcome these. In the beginning, I acted through the Hungarian Copyright Office (Artisjus), then I carried on as an entrepreneur. Between 1986-97, I taught computer technology in vocational schools, other educational institutes and IT camps as a visiting teacher. Since 1999 I have also acted as an expert in IT educational tools and since 2006 as an IT investment and procurement expert certified by the John von Neumann Computer Society (NJSZT). I have been a member of the Association of IT and Computer Technology Teachers since September 1997, the Public Education Department of the NJSZT since 2001, the Association for Development of Adult Education since 2006, and the Multimedia in Education Department of the NJSZT since August 2007. In March 2007 I joined the activities of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Hungarian Office, too. In July 2007 I was asked to edit the on-line adult education periodical "Felnőttképzési Szemle".
