Microsensor Electronics Limited was founded in 1995. Its operational areas and technical personnel are both "descendant" of the large companies in the Hungarian microelectronic industry such as Industrial Research Institute for Electronics "HIKI", Microelectronics Company and Interbip Microelectronics Company. Capitalising on its previous experience and knowledge, Microsensor Ltd. continues to distribute a variety of different microelectronic products: Microsensor Ltd. is the exclusive distributor of products of Contrinex AG (Switzerland) in Hungary: photoelectric and inductive proximity switches in small dimensions, in subminiature versions and with long operating distances Microsensor Ltd. is the exclusive distributor of products of the following GE Sensing brands in Hungary: - Druck (England) for pressure transducers, pressure transmitters, pressure indicators, pressure calibrators, temperature calibrators - Ruska and SI (USA) for deadweight testers, digital pressure indicators and calibrators Microsensor Ltd. is the exclusive distributor of products of MSI (USA): - IC Sensors miniature pressure sensors and accelerometers - Schaevitz linear displacements and rotary position sensors, clinometers Microsensor Ltd. distributes platinum thin film temperature sensors and transmitters produced by Proxensor Electronics Ltd. in custom design cases, also in waterproof versions, and with customised temperature range settings The Quality Management System has been introduced since the beginning of 2000.
